IKF World Championship 2011
During 2007, Shaoxing beat off tough competition from New Delhi, India and Pretoria, South Africa, in order to host the 2011 IKF World Championship.
Korfball is the world's only true mixed gender team sport with the rules laid down so that both men and women have equal opportunities. Currently, Korfball has more than fifty five (55) member federations on all continents; Africa, Americas, Asia, Europe, Oceania.
